Welcome to Refrigeration Air Maintenance (RAM)...
…where our story is as rich and dynamic as the services we provide. It all began in the 1980s with our founder, Ronald Clough I. Fresh out of military service, Ron embarked on a business journey in pest control. Along the way, he noticed a recurring issue at his restaurant clients: problematic air conditioning services. Inspired to make a difference, Ron earned his HVAC contractor license, and by 1994, he had transformed his vision into one of Houston’s leading HVAC companies, Refrigeration Air Maintenance, or RAM for short.
Ron’s legacy lives on through his son, Ronald Clough II, who grew up learning the ropes of the family trade under the loving guidance of his parents, Ron and Johnnie Clough. Johnnie co-managed operations until 2001, when Ron II took the lead, merging office savvy with practical expertise. In 2018, the Clough family expanded their leadership as Ron’s sister, Schila, joined as the office manager. In 2023, Schila stepped up as our President. Together, the leadership and technicians continue to uphold RAM’s legacy of excellence. Even in the office, our cheerful dogs add a personal touch, making our environment as warm and welcoming as our services.
